Galisteo Arts
Galisteo Arts fosters and promotes the arts in a historic village of artists, artisans, writers, musicians, environmentalists, and intellectuals. It produces lectures that address contemporary, ancient or environmental art, inviting renowned authors and academics to speak at the Galisteo Community Center. It curates individual and group exhibitions, both in Galisteo and Santa Fe, championing the Hispano, Native American, Anglo, and international talents in the village. The renowned Galisteo Studio Tour is now produced in conjunction with Galisteo Arts, sharing a board of dedicated volunteers.
How to become a volunteer
Galisteo Arts is operated by an all-volunteer board of citizens with various professional expertise. Participation is invited by individuals interested in sharing their interests in historic preservation, arts programming, fundraising, publicity, graphic design, community development, etc. Interests may be seasonal or related to individual events.
